Take a trip to Key Largo
Key Largo, the first and most northern of all the Florida Keys, is home to winding creeks, tropical hardwoods, a National Park, two State Parks and some of the most incredible wildlife and wilderness in the whole of the state. The self-proclaimed ‘Dive Capital of the World’ also boasts the world’s largest artificial reef and dive sites that include the 510-foot USS Spiegel Grove, the African Queen and the John Pennekamp Coral Reef Underwater State Park. There’s also an underwater hotel, sport fishing, eco-tours, beaches and a dolphin encounter programme, as well as nature trails and canoe and kayak opportunities. And let’s not forget the breathtaking sunsets!
