Days 1-2: Miami
Fun, glamorous, exciting and intriguing – Miami is a heady mix of beachside resort and buzzing cosmopolitan city. The Cuban influence seems to seep from every bar with Latin music and rum cocktails aplenty, while modern shops and hotels cater to even the most discerning traveller.
Biltmore Hotel Miami
The Biltmore provides guests with an idyllic luxurious stay for any guest. The pool, spa and natural surrounding makes it the perfect tropical oasis.
Days 3-5: Islamorada
Collect your car and head south, perhaps making time to stop and the incredible Everglades National Park en route. Before long you will realise you are leaving mainland USA and journeying out upon the Overseas Highway that joins the country to the Florida Keys.
The Moorings Village
The Moorings Village beachfront resort is set on an 18-acre former coconut plantation. The resort features individually decorated 1 to 3 bedroom cottages fitted with kitchens and porches as well as complimentary WiFi, flat screen TVs and iPod compatible docks. Some of the cottages have beautiful beach views. There are a number of excellent facilities provided onsite such as a heated outdoor pool, a tennis court, fitness centre and a spa. Days 6-10: Key West
At the southern tip of the Florida Keys is Key West. This island is the southernmost point of the USA and boasts a laidback Caribbean atmosphere. Find souvenirs in cute boutique shops, relax in the year-round sunshine then join the daily sunset celebrations at Mallory Square. On your final day head back to Miami airport, or speak to us about continuing your holiday on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
